Affordable, no-frills pizza. If that's what you're looking for then look no further. If you're in the mood for a New York style pie, from a small family-owned operation, in the area, that just tastes better; then I'd suggest driving the couple of minutes east of this place to DiPiazza or north to Salvatore. The restaurant is small, they have counter seating which probably fits 6, not comfortably. So, take out or delivery are your main options. The menu is standard Italian menu with the addition of a deep dish option, which isn't seen much in South Florida. The food, probably the most important category, was okay. Not great, not even good; just okay. I ordered standard pepperoni pizza, garlic rolls, and pepperoni/ cheese knots. All was devoid of flavor. The only time I'd come back is to try the deep dish which I didn't order because it takes an hour to cook, standard for deep dish pizza. I do, however, fear that it won't taste like much.
A very small store with window seats and stools to sit at. This little pizza ria has a familiar face and feeling. Very warm and funny employees. The food was amazing with their original deep dish pizza hitting the spot as I sat at home eating this very filling one slice of the whole pizza still staring at me and my + one... Let's just say there is leftovers for tomorrow....
I visited once in 2021 after passing by this location numerous times over my 2 years living 3 blocks away. When I visited they were undergoing construction so the menu was very limited. I was however able to order a EXTRA large cheese pizza and a medium pineapple pizza. The extra large pizza was enormous. It was so big I had to place it in the bed of my pick up truck. Unfortunately the size was the only positive. The pizza taste was so poor it was the first pizza I can recall that my wife and I was weekly pizza lovers could not complete. The customer service team was nice the whole way through but dang do I regret spending upwards of $30 on those two pizzas. Now when I compare a pizza's poor taste my wife and I say well at least it wasn't as bad as Manhattan pizza place
Hello everyone, didn't know about this gem in Hialeah, but now I do! Wow went there today and I'm glad I did.. nice people and the pizza was outstanding. Ordered a large cheese pizza pie light bake, didn't know what I was in for but was happy I drove the 15 miles. Got there and had a slice of a large pie and then order a second pie it was that good. I love pizza and this was without exception one of the best pizzas I've eaten in awhile..next to jets pizza in Davie Florida. The sauce is spot on not acidic and the dough has a nice yeast flavor.As always I ask for a lite bake so I can taste all the ingredients not dryed out. The garlic rolls were good.. not as good as the Big Cheese but decent. I would highly recommend this place. Those of you that worry about high sodium should not worry . This will be my new pizza spot..16 inch cheese pizza 10.99 great pizza.. certainly give it a try and you will be back for more. I lived in Chicago a few years ago and LOVED the Chicago style pizza there so I was really excited to find a local place that makes it. The order was actually delivered faster than expected too which was nice. We got the meat lovers Chicago style pizza and a NY style cheese. The NY style pizza was OK but I was quickly disappointed with the Chicago style pizza upon the first bite. It’s very thin, not as thick/loaded as an authentic one, and the meat was very sparse for a meat lovers pizza. There wasn’t really any meat in the one slice I had. I got like a piece of sliced deli ham. My husbands slice was the same. It was mostly just a mess of sauce and cheese and we ended up throwing it away. The sauce was overly sweet and there was way too much of it. My pizza arrived cold, but granted I don’t live super close to the restaurant. Long story short, not what I was expecting so I was disappointed. It’s highly unlikely that I’d order from here again.
